HawkQuest Day A Great Success!

The day of our much-anticipated summer celebration finally came around, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was out, the wind was down, and judging from the great turnout, all of you had been looking forward to the big day as much as we had. We'd like to share some photographs of the beautiful animals that made the day, and of the fantastic volunteers who take care of them.

As always, we wholeheartedly support the work of MaxFund and our other area no-kill animal shelters and rescue organizations. We are going to be expanding our association with MaxFund to include an animal sponsorship by Wild Bird Landing, and we also hope to schedule them for repeat visits. We would love to
see a dog or cat adopted right from our store!

To stand just inches from the magnificent birds of HawkQuest is an awe-inspiring experience. Our hope is that anyone who has the opportunity to see these birds up close can not help but gain a higher respect for the beauty of nature. We hope that these photographs can convey a little of this feeling to those who could not share the day with us, and serve as a reminder of the experience for those who did.
